This Fair Use Policy (“FUP”) works alongside QuantCDN’s Terms of Service to create a binding agreement covering all customers, users, and website visitors.
Service Purpose
QuantCDN exists to serve and support web applications via HTTP for consumption by end-users, services, or browsers.
Prohibited Uses
The following uses are explicitly restricted without a separate agreement:
- Large file delivery (video, audio streaming)
- Cryptocurrency mining
- Data scraping operations
- Computationally intensive tasks (machine learning, AI training)
- VPN or proxy services
- Non-HTTP protocols
Fair Use Thresholds
Acceptable usage is defined as:
Bandwidth
An average of 35kb per HTTP request delivered from the Services.
Compute
Custom code execution time up to 500GB hours per month for containerized or serverless functions.
Enforcement
QuantCDN retains discretionary authority to:
- Request customers purchase additional capacity
- Temporarily restrict service access when usage exceeds Fair Use limits
- Terminate service for repeated or severe violations
